The DiSTARS approach aims to test a synchronized integration of Art and STEM in the primary curriculum, simulating the ways in which subjects naturally connect in the real world. Combining scientific inquiry with artistic expression (e.g. visual and performing arts), storytelling, and by using a digital storytelling platform along with AR and VR technology, this educational practice captures the imagination of young students and provides them with one of their early opportunities for digital creative expression.

Robotic Village was a project ran in a Greek public school with 19 students aged 7-12 in the school year 2018-2019. It covered part of the official hours of operation of the school, but it was mostly extended in a non-formal zone in the evenings and Saturdays. The project was an attempt to enrich the learning environment of the kids, by facilitating robotics workshops, a book club with robot-themed literature and various creative activities employing ICT tools and modern pedagogical approaches.
