This paper deals with an educational interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary scenario on food quality and safety, focusing on controls during the preparation of plant products and the usefulness of automated food sorting machines.

Εφαρμογή εκπαιδευτικής ρομποτικής στην Προσχολική Εκπαίδευση

Στην παρούσα εκπαιδευτική πρακτική, παρουσιάζεται μια σειρά εκπαιδευτικων δραστηριοτήτων με κεντρικό θέμα τον προσανατολισμό στο χώρο και τον προγραμματισμό ρομπότ. Βασική μας επιδίωξη ήταν αρχικά ο σχεδιασμός της διαδρομής σε χαρτί και στη συνέχεια ο προγραμματισμός του ρομπότ από τα παιδιά για να την εκτελέσει. Η παρούσα εκπαιδευτική πρακτική εφαρμόστηκε σε παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας στο Νηπιαγωγείο.

Technovation Girls

Global initiative created in 2009 with the aim of increasing female participation in the technological field, in which women represent only 30% of workers. Every year, Technovation Girls Catalonia invites teams of girls (10-18 years old) to learn and apply the skills that are necessary to solve real problems by creating a mobile application.

CODINC “Coding for Inclusion”

The CODINC Erasmus+ project aimed at fostering STEM education of disadvantaged youth through an inclusive educational approach based on a peer-learning pedagogical method for formal and non-formal educational contexts in Europe. CODINC was coordinated by ALL DIGITAL and implemented in 5 European countries (Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Italy and Spain) from January 2018 until January 2020. The project specific objectives are:

Combining programming with the learning of concepts of natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (stem) through the creation of a portable application for weather forecast

The practice described attempted to create a portable weather forecasting app for smart mobile devices with an operating system. Educational material from the Greek National Aggregator of Educational Content «Photodentro» was used, as well as a variety of educational and non-digital material freely available on the Internet (e-books, tutorials, API, graphics files, etc.). It was associated with teaching in the classroom (project 2nd high school class).
