In the school year 2017-2018 we implemented at our school one of the most important experiments in the history of mankind: The Experiment of Eratosthenes. The goal was to measure the circumference of the Earth, using the shadow created by a stick(rod), just as Eratoshenes did in 3 BC century. It is an interdisciplinary activity, which connects different subjects: Mathematics, Geography and Computer Science.
