STE(A)M Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) is a free tool designed to assist educational organizations include STE(A)M education in their educational program. SAT supports educational organizations to assess and improve their STE(A)M education, as well as individual educators for self assessment.
SAT anonymously collects the opinions of educational organization leaders, teachers and students, on how STE(A)M is used in their organization. This is done using surveys and a simple 1-5 answer scale. The questions take a short time to complete.
Based on this input, the tool generates a report of organization’s (or individual educator’s in case of self assessment) strengths and weaknesses in their use of STE(A)M. It can be used by any organization or individual educator – not just those with an expertise on STE(A)M education.
The data that are stored in SAT are fully anonymized. The data that are stored in the SAT platform are the answers of the questionnaires and the profile information of the educational organizations as well as the information of the organization representatives. Access in the data have only the administrators of the platform. Access in the data of specific surveys have only the related organizations and their representatives. In case of individual self assessment the answers of the questions are not anonymized. Access in those data have only the administrators of the platform and the individual registered educator who answered the relevant questionnaire.
