Google Earth: Improving spatial thinking in Maths and Geography

Based on the definition of spatial thinking in the Report of NRC “Learning to Think Spatially” (2006), the present educational scenario engages secondary school students in tasks which aim to improve their spatial skills by combining concepts of space, tools of representation and processes of reasoning.

EuroSTEAM

The Erasmus+ EuroSTEAM project looked into the deficit of STEAM skills in young students throughout Europe. The aim of the project was to identify how we can use more interactive and creative teaching methodologies in our classrooms in order to excite and engage students in STEAM subjects.
