Blended Course

Welcome to the STE(A)MonEDU blended course!


WHY

Following the STE(A)MonEDU MOOC, the blended course will analyse deeper specific perspectives of the STE(A)MComp competence framework, that is, the educator as learning designer and creator (designing and producing outputs) and the educator as community member (interacting with the environment). The course will allow you to acquire knowledge, practice and exchange experiences that will facilitate a multi-dimensional understanding of the STE(A)M approach, integrating different viewpoints during the cooperative tasks and activities.


WHAT

The course includes five modules that will be delivered via a combination of asynchronous and synchronous activities within 3 calendar weeks.

  • B2. STE(A)M curricula design

  • B3. Learner development techniques

  • B4. STE(A)M competence framework and educator profiles

  • B5. STE(A)M policies promotion

The detailed schedule will be finalized by end of August.

The blended course will be a more demanding task (in terms of activities and assignments) compared to the MOOC. A learning effort of 25-30 will be required, 11-13 hours of them will be synchronous training. Instructors and tutors will always be monitoring the procedure, ready to assist you in any issue encountered!


WHO

The course is addressed to 50 participants that have successfully concluded the MOOC. In view of the higher (than 50) number of applicants, a selection will take place by considering the MOOC performance and profile of the applicants.
